Carbon monoxide detectors are now required in the State of Washington
Effective 4/1/2012. RCW 19.27.530 in in effect
This requires the sellers of any owner occupied single family residence to be equip with a carbon monoxide detector(s) in accordance with state building code at the time of a sale.
This new law applies to homes, condos and manufactured homes.
